POST-WAR LIES: GERMANY AND HITLER'S LONG SHADOW
by Malte Herwig

The Nazi Party’s youngest members, those born between 1919 and 1927, who were raised on a diet of racism and militarism. A number of them, from prominent politician Hans-Dietrich Genscher to writer Martin Walser, were later to become leading public figures in Federal Germany. While the US government held captured Nazi records, the German government used every available means to delay the return of the Nazi archive for half a century until the last top politician with a Nazi file had retired. The author tells the hitherto unknown story, from the Third Reich to the post-war de-Nazification process and into the present.

AND HEAVEN SHED NO TEARS
by Henry Armin Herzog

The author survived the liquidation of the Rzeszow ghetto in Poland and endured terrible hardships in forced labor camps. He documents the increasing severity of Nazi rule in Rzeszow and the complicity of the Jewish council (the Judenrat) and Jewish police in the round-ups for deportation to the Belzec concentration camp. His parents and brothers all lost their lives. Herzog and his sister escaped to Hungary where he was betrayed, arrested, and finally put on a train to the concentration camps. Escaping by jumping off the train and fleeing into the Tatra Mountains, he joined a group of Russian partisans to fight the Nazis.
