The remarkable career of General Daniel "Chappie" James Jr, one of the original "Tuskagee" pilots, the black airmen who were trained and flew in the USAAF in WWII. With the ending of segregation in the US Armed Forces he rose rapidly in rank and, after distinguished service in Korea, he was made a full Colonel in 1964. He again flew in combat in Vietnam with the famous 8th Tactical Fighter wing, the "Wolfpack", alongside the legendary Col. Robin Olds. Chappie James subsequently became America's first Black Four Star General.
