FROM DREADNOUGHT TO SCAPA FLOW: VOLUME V 1918-1919 VICTORY AND AFTERMATH
by Arthur J Marder

The final volume is essentially the New order established at the Admiralty after Jellicoe's dismissal, through the scuttling of the High Seas Fleet at Scapa Flow. The US Navy arrived in European waters and the raid on Zeebrugge in April 1918 was a striking morale raising exploit. In November Beatty received the surrender of the German High Seas Fleet under the armistice terms.

FROM THE DREADNOUGHT TO SCAPA FLOW VOLUME II: THE WAR YEARS: TO THE EVE OF JUTLAND 1914-1916
by Arthur J Marder

Reprint with corrections. This second volume covers the escape of the German ship Goeben, the defeat at Coronel - avenged in the Falklands battle, the humiliation of the Dardanelles and the submarine menace. Hanging over all this was the question of strategy. How was the German High Seas Fleet to be brought to a battle in which the Royal Navy could inflict that crushing blow which all British sailors believed it capable of dealing? Dustjacket rubbed and slightly marked with a darkened spine. Boards and text very good.
